New representation in France

In order to provide a continuous service in France, we have formed a new sales partnership with Optimus Instruments FR, the successor organization of former Reaktion.

Management takes over SYSTAG Majority share.

Rüschlikon (Zürich), December 4, 2006.  Within the framework of a management  buy-out (MBO), the majority shareholding of SYSTAG, System Technik AG was acquired by the present management already running this company for many years. The company, operating at an international level is well known as a leading provider of automation solutions for chemical process development and process safety examinations.

The Management Team which has successfully operated for a long period under the leadership of current CEO Mike Mandlehr, Ralf Meier (SYSTAG Germany), Leo Frey (Team Leader Development), and Roland Schmalz (Team Leader Logistic/ Production) obtained after carefully planned succession arrangements the share majority from the owner and founder of SYSTAG Peter E. Meier, Main Shareholder and President of the Board of Directors. The selected succession option guarantees the continuous development of the company in their present business areas. A minority shareholding was obtained by Dottikon ES Holding AG in December 2005.

SYSTAG, a Swiss company based in Rüschlikon (Zürich) is specialised in providing complete solutions for the automation of chemical process development. Purpose-developed software and hardware components are used in the applications of the products sold by SYSTAG. They include reaction calorimeters for the determination of thermal safety data of safety-critical chemical processes and laboratory automation systems for process development and automation to scale-up level. In this way SYSTAG promotes technology advantages by providing maximum flexibility.

The company DOTTIKON ES, situated in Dottikon, Canton Aargau is specialised in safety-critical chemical reactions and focuses on the exclusive synthesis of fine chemicals and intermediates for worldwide  leading international pharmaceutical enterprises as well as high-value industrial chemicals from their own development capabilities.


SYSTAG prepares for Generation Change

Ruschlikon, Switzerland, 8 December 2005 - DOTTIKON ES, specializing in the exclusive synthesis involving safety critical chemical reactions has become a new minority shareholder of SYSTAG Systems Technik AG with a 33.9 % shareholding. It represents a further step in the generation change that was initiated when Mike Mandlehr took over as CEO from main shareholder and Chairman of the Board Peter E. Meier. Peter E. Meier will in future concentrate on the management of the Board and will gradually hand over to the management of SYSTAG. This ensures the technological leadership of SYSTAG whilst maintaining continuity and flexibility.

Swiss-based SYSTAG, located in Ruschlikon (Zurich) is a technology leader in complete automation solutions for chemical process development up to pilot plant scale. Tailor-made software and hardware components are utilized in the systems manufactured by SYSTAG, such as reaction calorimeters to determine thermal safety data for critical chemical process development as well as subsequent scale-up applications. With this range SYSTAG provides technological advantages with maximum flexibility.
